This exhibition will open for Black History Month in February 2027 and close out at the end of March 2027, in celebration of Women’s History Month.

Curator & Designer Talk, family car photo stories opportunities, and a Black women in Michigan panel discussion will also be held in conjunction with this exhibition. Stay tuned for details.

Tom Hamann, director of Ambient Learning Experiences at Kalamazoo Valley, played a pivotal role in the design of the interactive education panels that feature the women researched by the Merze Tate Explorers for this multimedia exhibition.
