Created by the Merze Tate Explorers, a Kalamazoo-based youth media organization, the multimedia exhibition features nearly three dozen historic and reimagined photographs that explore Black women’s history through the lens of cars, travel, courage, mobility, and freedom.

The exhibition will remain on display at the Gilmore Car Museum through Sept. 30 before traveling to additional locations across Michigan.

Admission to the car museum is required.
